When  you  switch  off  the  heater  by  only  using  the  remote,  the  heater  will  remain 

stand-by. Always switch off the heater by using the remote as well as the main switch 

on the side of the unit and unplug it from the electrical outlet. 

Do not leave the heater unattended and always use the main switch on the side of the 

unit to switch off the heater.
