turn it downwards. The effect of the lo

7. Make sure that the protection against
accidential folding (colored red) on the
running gear is pushed down and snap-
ped into place.
8. Attach the basket to the running gear
and place the tray on the seat. Please
pay attention to place the trays sticks
into the holes of the seat.
Folding and unfolding of the
walking frame
To unfold just pull the back wheels back-
wards. Now push down the cross bracing
and push down the red colored protector
against accidential folding until it snaps in.
This integrated security feature protects
the walking frame from accidential folding
during the usage of it. The usage of the
walking frame without this security feature is
strongly prohibited! Disregarding can cause
serious injuries! Especially if you
overcome an obstacle without the protector
snapped into place, the walking frame can
collapse and cause several injuries!
Before folding up the walking frame, make
sure to remove the basket as well as the
tray. Fold up the red colored protection
against accidential folding and then pull up
the cross bracing in an upright position to
finally fold up the walking frame.
The locking lever
With the help of the locking lever, the height
of the ergonomically shaped handles can be
easily and individually adjusted to the user.
By turning the locking lever counterclockwise
the handles become loose and you can pull
them out or put them deeper into the frame.
Please make sure that at least 10 cm of the
handlebar remains inside the crossbar of the
walking frame. This is assured if no plain me-
tal part is visible below the riffled area of the
handlebar. Secure the handlebar again by
turning the locking lever clockwise. After the
handlebar has been tightened, the locking
lever must be in a downward facing position
again. In case it is not, please pull the lever
outwards and bring the locking lever in a
downward facing position. The effect of the
locking lever does not change through this.
Brake function of the walking
frame
To slow down the walking frame, simply pull
both brake handles towards you. To fix the
handbrake, simply push the brake handles
in the opposite direction until you hear a
clicking sound. To unlock the handbrake
pull up both brake handles until the brake
unlocks again.
Attention:
Worn out plastic wheels can
influence the effectiveness of the brakes.
That is why the brakes should be controlled
regularly.
