To lower the risk of an electrical shock, the device can only be run on a power
supply with a protective conductor.
6.1
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) after EN 60601-1-2
CAUTION!
The radiographic system PRS 500 F is, as a medical electrical electric device,
subject to particular precautionary measures in regard to EMC and is required
to be installed and prepared for initial use as described within the
accompanying documents.
CAUTION!
Mobile HF-Communication devices shouldn’t be used closer than 30cm (12
Inch) to the marked parts and cables of the PRS 500 F. Disregarding this can
cause a decrease in the performance features of the device.
CAUTION!
The X-ray generator integrated into the radiographic system PRS 500 F sends
out electromagnetic waves during operation, which could cause interference
with other devices.
For EMC guidelines and manufacturers declaration for the generator
according to EN 60601-1-2, see the separate User Manual for the
corresponding generator.
6.1.1
Guidelines and Manufacturers declaration – electromagnetic interference (non-life
supporting device)
The radiographic system is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF
disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the radiographic system can help prevent
electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF
communications equipment (transmitter) and the radiographic system.
