• Do not use the device if the mains cable is damaged, the device fell down or it came into contact with
water.
• The device may be used by children from 8 years and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety of if such a person has instructed them accordingly about the use of the device so that
they understand the associated risks.
• Do not allow children to play with the packing material as there is a risk of suffocation.
• An electronic device is not a toy. Children do not recognize the risks which can occur when handling
electronic devices. Use and store the device out of the reach of children.
• Do not place or use the device on hot surfaces or near open gas flames to prevent the casing from
melting.
• Never expose the device to water. To clean the device, use a moist cloth. Do not use solvents.
• Do not carry or pull the device by the mains cable. Disconnect the cable from the socket by pulling the
plug, not the cable.
• Do not pull the mains cable across sharp edges, do not clamp it, do not let it hang loose, do not lay
or hang it over hot objects (e.g. stove plates) or open flames, and keep away from heat or oil.
• Only use extension cables after having verified that they are in a flawless state.
• If the power adapter of the device is damaged, immediately have it replaced by an expert.
• Do not store the device near a sink or a bathtub as it may fall or be pulled into the sink or the bathtub.
• Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be performed by children without supervision.
• In order to avoid any risk of injury and to prevent the device from blocking or being damaged, make
sure that the running device does not come into contact with clothes, strings, shoelaces, bristles, wires,
threads, hair etc.
Note:
The power supply unit can easily heat up. This does not indicate a malfunction. The device can be used
without any problems.
Please check that the delivery is complete before commissioning. The supplied power adapter

• The
device
Promed pedimed
with the abrasive products provided for this purpose is ideally suitable
for your pedicure.
• For
the
Promed pedimed
, a high-performance motor is used. With the electronic speed control,
you infinitely adjust the speed of the abrasive product. The device can be operated in the clockwise
and anti-clockwise rotation (switchable).
• The abrasive product fixture can be used for all commercially available abrasive products with a shaft
with a standard shaft dental diameter (ø 2.332 mm to 2.350 mm). In order to ensure the longest
possible service life of the abrasive product fixture, please use only quality abrasive products with a
rounded shaft end and a maximum shaft length of 36 mm!
• When laying down the handpiece, it is absolutely necessary to make sure that the abrasive product
does not come into contact with its environment. There is the risk that the shaft is compressed and
become unbalanced. An imbalance of the abrasive product causes damage to the handpiece!
