Positively earthed
Connect the BLACK lead (battery clip) from the charger to the Negative (-) battery terminal.
Connect the RED lead (battery clip) from the charger to the vehicle’s chassis away from
the fuel line or moving parts.

STEP 2 – REMOTE CONTROL (OPTIONAL) & TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Connect the temperature sensor prior to turning on the charger this is required for
lithium charging to maximize life and performance of the battery. If you require the
remote control this is optional and must be fitted prior to turning on the power.
To install the remote, insert the data plug into the data socket at the rear of the battery
charger.
Cable length: 4.5 metres.
Warning:
Ensure the cable is secured safely away from moving parts.
Installing Temperature Sensor
To install the temperature sensor, insert the plug into the temperature sensor socket at
the rear of the battery charger. Install the ring terminal to the negative battery terminal.
Cable length: 1.8 metres.

Ensure the cable is secured safely away from moving parts.
STEP 3 – CONNECT TO 240V MAINS POWER
Connect the battery charger to the 240V mains powered socket and turn on the mains
power.
STEP 4 – SET CHARGE RATE
The charge rate should be set according to the size of the battery. See the recommended
charge rates for various battery sizes in the table on the following page.
a. Press the CHARGE RATE or MODE button to enter setting mode.
b. Press the CHARGE RATE button until the desired setting is achieved.
