Operator’s Manual

30

Steering

Use the right-hand control lever to steer the machine. Push the lever
to the right or to the left to steer in that direction, as viewed from the
rear of the machine. Sense of direction is reversed if viewed from
front of machine.

Always avoid sharp turns as this may lead to de-tracking. Use three
point turns whenever possible. See page 36.

Left-hand Turn

Push the lever to the left to make a left-hand turn. The farther
the lever is pushed, the sharper the turn. The drive on the left
hand side is slowed or stopped to allow the turn.

Right-hand Turn

▪

Push the lever to the right to make a right-hand turn. The
farther the lever is pushed, the sharper the turn. The drive on
the right hand side is slowed or stopped to allow the turn.
