operating instructions
Lamp head connection
1. When connecting the lamp head plug to the Lamp Head Socket [1], align the white
dots on the plug with the white dot on the generator panel. Secure by turning the
ring on the plug clockwise.
COnnECTInG LAMP HEAd
Turn on generator
1. Set the On/Off Switch [9] to
on
.
2. The Ready Lamp [8] will be illuminated when the generator is ready.
Settings
1. Use the Modeling Light Switch [11] to select
eXT
,
BAT
or
off
.
2. Use the Energy Switch [16] and the Energy Control [15] to set the energy level.
3. Use the Sound Switch [17] to turn on/off the audible sounds.
Sync via cable
1. Connect a sync cord from the camera or a flash meter to the Sync Socket [5].
Sync via Photocell
1. Connect an IR transmitter to the camera.
2. Set the Photocell Switch [7] to
SLAVe
.
Sync via radio – Profoto Air
1. Press and hold down the Radio On/Off Button [12] to turn on the Profoto Air receiver.
The Channel Indicator [14] of the previously used channel will be illuminated.
2. To change channel, press the Channel Button [13] until the desired Channel
Indicator [14] is illuminated.
3. The AcuteB2 generator is now ready to flash, with the selected radio channel.
