PABX:
In case the TX-250 will be connected to
a PABX, check if the PABX is suitable for
Caller-ID. If not, the TX-250 has to be
connected directly to the public telep-
hone network.
WALL MOUNT:
1. drill two holes in the wall with a
distance of 10,5cm and insert two
screws. Let the heads of the screws
stick out a few millimeters of the wall
2. remove the handsetholder, rotate it
180° and replace it. This holder will
hold the handset when wall mounted.
3. hang the unit on the wall and fixate
the telephone wire by means of
cable-clips.
PROGRAMMING
Make sure that during the programming,
the telephone must be connected to your
telephoneline.
DISPLAY LANGUAGE:
Follow these instructions to select the
required language:
1. leave the handset on the cradle
2. press and hold the button
3. press and hold the button
4. press , the display shows “NEDER-
LAND” (or another language), now
release the buttons
5. use buttons
and
to select
another
language
6. press
to store the selected
language
TIME, DATE & CONTRAST:
In idle state, the display shows the actual
time and date and with each call, the
TX-250 stores the time/date of that call.
Next to the setting of this time, the con-
trast can be set.
1. leave the handset on the cradle
2. press button R until after about 2
seconds, the display shows
“SET TIME” and the hour-indication
flashes, you may release button R
3. use buttons and
to increase or
decrease the hour-indication and
press
4. pepeat step 3 for the the minutes, the
month, the date, the year and if a
daypresentation is required (a figure
on the left of the display = day
presentation ON; no figure = day
presentation
OFF).
5. press button R, the display gives
“SET CONTRAST LO” or “SET
CONTRAST
HIGH”
6. use button and
to toggle
between these 2 levels
7. press button R to end the program-
ming.
HOW TO USE
INCOMING CALL:
Adjust the ringer volume with the ringer
switch on the backside of the telephone.
Lift the handset and start the conversa-
tion.
The ringer-lamp (
) also indicates an
incoming call.
OUTGOING CALL:
Lift the handset. Wait for the dial tone
and key-in the desired telephone number.
