• This carbon monoxide detector REQUIRES BATTERIES to work. It will not provide protection if the
batteries are removed or not replaced in time.
• High or low temperatures, high levels of humidity, heavy jolts or falls may harm the digital dis-
play.
• The carbon monoxide detector measures the level of carbon monoxide in the air. The warning
signal will sound when the level of CO rises (e.g. if the heat exchanger in your central heating
system is broken) or if CO is constantly present (for instance if CO is slowly leaking from an appli-
ance that burns fuel). This carbon monoxide detector has a sensor, indicator light and display, an
85dB warning alarm and a test button. It also has an alarm pause button to temporarily silence
the alarm.
IMPORTANT:
Check your carbon monoxide detector each week. Replace the detector immedi-
ately if you find it is not working properly
