7. maIntenanCe
7.1 CLEANING AIr INTAKE FILLEr
Air intake fi lter will become blocked and start to reduce the performance of the pump over time,
therefore it is necessary to check it frequently and replace it when you fi nd it blocked or dirty.
l
Simply remove the air intake cover in rear
of the pump base.
l
remove and replace the air intake fi lter
l
repeat step 1 and 2 in reverse order to
reassemble.
7.3 FrOST
Frost can cause damage to the pump. In freezing the pump and pipes must be
emptied, rinsed with clean water and stored dry.
7.2 rEPLACING BATTErY (OXYGEN 4)
rechargeable battery will become less effi cient with repeated charge and discharge cycles.The
capacity of the battery may also reduce over time, therefore it is necessary to replace battery
every 12-18 months as a minimum or more frequently depending on daily using conditions.

remove the base screw x4pc from the
pump base.
l
Partially remove the pump cover lid
l
Slightly Disconnect the battery lead from
the pump cover lid, then remove and
replace the battery.
l
repeat the step 1 and 2 and 3 in reverse
order to reassemble.
Tools Need:
Small sized Philips head screwdriver.
Dispose of old battery according to your
local regulations, recycle when possible.
Only the original battery should be used
for replacement as other alternatives may
damage the product and will void the
guarantee.
8. troublesHootInG
8.1 LOW AIr OUTPUT / NOISY OPErATION
l
Is the pump on a sounding board, such as a wooden shed fl oor, if so place the pump on a
patio slab that will reduce the effect (see section 5)
l
Are the air lines kinked
l
Placing the air stones deeper in the water increases the back-pressure on the pump, as it
must work harder it may become noisy (see section 4.3)
l
Check and replace old blocked and dirty air stones
l
Check and clean blocked and dirty air intake fi lter (see section 7.1)
8.2 NO AIr OUTPUT / PUMP STOPPED
l
Check connections between pump and solar panel
l
Check solar panel positioned correctly to receive direct sun light (see section 4.2), leave it
charging under good direct sun light for a while and recheck later.
l
Intake fi lter may be severely blocked, need to clean the air intake fi lter (see section 7.1)
l
Battery (only Oxygen 4) may have reached its life span, need to replace the battery (see sec-
tion 7.2)
9. seCurIty tIPs
l
Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
l
Pumping infl ammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
l
Never pull the pump on the electrical cable or hose
l
Avoid cross section narrowing
l
During longer unused times, clean the air pump and store it at room temperature
l
The pump may be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack skills, experience and
knowledge only if they are supervised. These aforementioned persons should only use
the appliance while adhering to safe instructions and resulting dangers.
l
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

For all manufacturing and material defects, the statutory warranty applies. In these cases we
take the replacement or repair of the device. Shipping costs shall be borne by our company,
except as required by law. Please report the warranty on our service platform http://www.profi -
pumpe.de/service.php. We will inform you how to proceed with case-related. returns please
suffi cient postage. Unfortunately not prepaid returns can not be accepted because they are
fi ltered out before delivery. Our service we provide in Germany.
The warranty does not cover:

Material wear (sealing rings, impeller wheels, impeller chambers)

Unjustifi ed interventions or changes in the pump
