Install the inserts of rear fenders again.

Install rear bumper and rear dust protectors.

Install rear group lights.
11.
Install rear wheels of the vehicle and tighten the wheel screws to the
specified torque.

In the boot, lead the cables of the electrical installation of the towing gear
along the current electrical installation of the vehicle to the rear group lights.
13.
Lead the bunched cables with black-white, brown and grey-black colours on
the left side (in the direction of driving) and attach them with cable clamps
(U) to the current electrical installation (Figure 8).
14.
Lead the bunched cables with black-green and grey-red colours on the right
side (in the direction of driving) and attach them with cable clamps (U) to
the current electrical installation (Figure 8).
15.
From the group light, remove the six-pole terminal board and connect it with
the terminal board (V) on the bunched cables of the towing gear - on both
sides of the vehicle (Figure 9).
16.
Slide in the free terminal board (X) of the bunched cables of the towing gear
to the group lights to the place of the original six-pole terminal board - on
both sides of the vehicle (Figure 9).
17.
Connect the interconnected terminal boards to the current bunch of electrical
installation (Figure 9) with the cable clamps (U).
18.
Find out the BSG code number (address 09) by means of the diagnostic
device V.A.G.
19.
Increase the code number by 1 and enter it in BSG (function 07 - entry of
code number).
20.
Connect minus clamp of the accumulator and perform a functional test.
21.
Install all remaining dismantled parts again.
D) Installation of the towing arm
Fix the towing arm by means of two screws M12 x 65 (A), washers 13 (B) and
nuts M12 (C) between the holders and tighten the screws with torque wrench to
80 Nm
(Figure 10).
