III.3
Audio input configuration for MIC/Line level inputs
III.3.1
MUTE and ON keys
Pressing the <
MUTE
> button will silence all
audio inputs for the uplink as well as for the
headphone and local XLR audience.
Each audio input is individually enabled with its
<
ON
> button.
III.3.2
TB Keys
Quantum W supports two independent communications via IP (with some
streaming protocols). Thus, we can establish one connection for the main
program stream, and another one for coordination, or TalkBack stream

. Each
input can be configured to be added to the audio contribution on the Program or
the Talkback streams by means of the ‘TB’ keys located on the top surface.
Likewise, each audio input can be enabled/disabled, regardless of the status of
the ‘TB’ switch, by means of the ‘ON’ keys.
When one input has been assigned to the TalkBack audio stream, the
corresponding TB button will be illuminated.
