If the installation machine is stored for a long period of time:
•
Store the machine in a flat and dry place in a hall.
•
When storing outdoors, place the laying machine on a wooden platform on a level and horizontal surface and cover it
completely with a dark protective sheet.
•
Pull hand brake!
•
Use chocks or similar devices to prevent the laying machine from rolling away unintentionally.
•
Protect the machine from direct sea air (risk of corrosion!)
•
Retract the lifting cylinder.
•
Clean and oil all components (joints) and the motor completely, or lubricate according to the lubrication plan.
•
Disconnect battery.
•
In the winter months fill in sufficient cooling water antifreeze and fill up with winter diesel.
•
Place the attached laying tongs (HVZ) on the floor, place wooden beams under the gripping cheeks.
•
Close the main clamping device on the laying clamp (HVZ).
•
Open the side clamping at the laying clamp (HVZ).
