6 Installation
6.1 Safety
6.1.1 Safety Instructions for Installation
The lifting device must be installed and maintained only by qualified specialist electricians and mechanics.
WARNING
Improper assembly
Serious injury or death!

Carry out mounting and removal only when the device is in an idle, depressurized state.
 Ensure that the lift capacity of the hoist (crane, chain hoist, lifting tackle, etc.) is at least equal to the
sum of the lifting device’s weight and lift capacity.
 Ensure that the hoist is in perfect working order.

Only hang the lifting device from the with the suspension reel.
 Optionally, the lifting device can be secured to the means of transport with a flange plate.
6.1.2 Protective Equipment

The following protective equipment is required for handling purposes:
• Protective work shoes
• Sturdy work gloves
6.2 Hanging the lifting device on the suspension reel
WARNING
Improper attachment of the load suspension device
Severe injury or death due to falling loads.
 Only hang the lifting gear on the suspension reel (1) or with the flange (20, optional).

Direct attachment of ropes or chains to the 4 mounting points (20.1) for the flange is prohibited.

Lifting gear may not be attached to the operator handle.
