1-METER READY-TO-RUN SAILBOAT

Boat Assembly

Carefully remove the hull, parts and sail tube from the boxes. Fasteners

are in bags (

A

), (

B

), and (

C

). Open the sail tube, then remove and unroll

the sails.

1.  Align and install the weight on the keel using a washer, lock nut

(

Bag C

) and a 7mm nut driver.

2.  Remove the hatch from the hull. Insert the keel into the hull

using a washer, lock nut (

Bag C

)

and a 7mm nut driver.

3.  Connect the linkages in the outermost holes of the rudder arm

(

Bag C

)

as shown.

Tip:

Apply a thin coat of Marine Grease (PRB0101 or PRB0100) to the

rudder post.

4.  Install the rudder post in the bottom of the hull, then install the

rudder arm on the post, tightening the hex head screw on the

flat spot on the post using a 2.5mm hex wrench.

5.  Install 4 AA batteries in the battery holder, then connect the

holder to the switch connector and install the battery holder in

the hull socket.

6.  Replace the hatch.

Tip:

We recommend applying tape (DYNM0102, sold separately) over

the hatch and hull to keep out water.

Failsafe

In the unlikely event that the radio link is lost during use, the receiver

will drive the servos to their pre-programmed failsafe positions

(normally sails out and straight steering).

If the receiver is powered on before powering on the transmitter, the

receiver will enter

FAILSAFE

mode. When the transmitter is powered

on, normal control is resumed. Failsafe servo positions are set during

binding.
