BLADE PARALLEL TO THE MITRE GAUGE SLOT

WARNING
To avoid any injury:
Ɣ Always unplug the tool when carrying out any adjustments.
Ɣ This adjustment must be precise, if not it can cause recoil leading
to serious injuries and preventing accurate cutting.
1. Remove the yellow switch key and unplug the saw.
2. Remove the blade guard.
3. Mount the blade in the highest position and adjust to an angle of
0° (90° angle).
4. Choose and mark a “right slanting” blade tooth with a marker pen.
5. Place the base of the combination square (1) in the right hand
mitre gauge slot (2). (Fig. 1)
6. Adjust the ruler so that it touches the marked tooth at the front
and block it so that it retains its position on the square.
7. Turn the blade to bring the marked tooth to the back to around ½
in above the table.
8. Slowly slide the combination square backwards until the ruler
touches the marked tooth.
9. If the ruler touches the marked tooth at the back and the front,
no adjustment is necessary. If not, proceed with the adjustment
described in the following section.
RAISE THE SAW BLADE
Screw the crank handle (T1) into the hand wheel (T).
Turn the hand wheel (1) clockwise or anti-clockwise using the crank
handle to raise or lower the saw blade (Q). The angle setting will be
retained during this process (Fig. 1).
SAW BLADE ANGLE
To angle the saw blade (Q) for an angled cut (Fig. 1), undo the faste-
ning screw (2), push the hand wheel (1) towards the saw so that the
gear ring on the hand wheel engages in the toothed segment (3) of
the saw housing (Fig. 2).
