4.1 The work site should be on a flat, level surface away
from vehicle traffic and other distractions.
5. Do not exceed this maximum weight capacity (see
Specifications). This includes the hitch mount vise plate,
the tool installed on the plate and any material the tool
is supporting.
6. Remove the vise mount vise plate and tool before moving
the vehicle, as the shifting weight during movement could
damage the hitch mount vise plate.
7. The tool is heavy. Use proper lifting techniques when
installing or removing the vice from the hitch. Seek
assistance from another person if necessary.
UNPACKING
WARNING! Do not operate the tool if any part is missing.
Replace the missing part before operating. Failure to do so
could result in a malfunction and personal injury.
Remove the parts and accessories from the packaging and inspect
for damage. Make sure that all items in the parts list are included.
ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included
Parts List.
1. Slide the anti-wobble bracket (#3) over the receiver tube
(#6) with the bolt holes facing down. The side with three
screws will face the hitch receiver.
2. Slide the receiver tube into the vehicle’s hitch receiver and
secure in place using the hitch pin (#4). Insert the R-pin
(#5) into the hitch pin’s hole to prevent it from falling out.
3. Push the anti-wobble plate against the hitch receiver until
the bracket overlaps the hitch receiver’s lip. Finger-tighten
the three bolts (#1, 2) over the hitch receiver, then finger-
tighten the bolt (#2) overlapping the receiver tube.
