GRINDING WHEELS
For best grinding results and maintaining good balance, always
keep the wheel(s) properly dressed.
Never force a workpiece against a cold wheel. Use light
pressure until the wheel becomes warm.
We strongly recommend using only balanced wheels on these
grinders. Balanced wheels will add years of life to grinder
bearings and arbor shaft and eliminate the most common
cause of vibration, which will yield more accurate work
.
CONTROL PANEL
The control panel contains a digital display and the buttons to
start/stop and adjust the revolutions-per-minute.
Start the grinder with the power ON button (Fig. 2-1). Stop the
grinder with the OFF button (Fig. 2-2).
Set the revolutions per minute to the
maximum speed with the High button
(Fig. 2-3) or lowest speed with the
Low button (Fig. 2-7). Increase or
decrease the speed in 100 RPM
increments by pushing the Up or
Down arrows (Fig. 2-5 or 2-6).
The digital display (Fig. 2-4) will show
the current RPM setting. The display
will flash if the speed cannot be changed when any of the High,
Low, Up or Down buttons are pressed. This may be due to
having already reached the minimum or maximum RPM speed.
