3-2-4 Precautions: Input/Output Signal Lines
Input and output signal lines must be separated from operating circuit power cables.
If this is not possible, use a shielded cable and connect the shield to the FP chassis.
Connect the FP's FG terminal to an ex-
clusive ground. [diagram (a) - Grounding

If exclusive grounding is not possible, use
a common connection point. [diagram

The grounding wire should have a cross
sectional area greater than 2mm

. Make
the connection point as close to the FP
unit as possible, and make the wire as
short as possible. When using a long
grounding wire, replace the thin wire with
a thicker wire placed in a duct.
If this equipment does not function prop-
erly when grounded, disconnect the
ground wire from the FG terminal.
