Microwave-combi mode
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
The grill rack is not suitable for micro-
wave mode.
■
Use the grill rack exclusively in simple
grill mode.
The unit has two combination functions with
which microwave and grill can be combined
in different ways:
C-1
55% microwave and 45% grill for
quick cooking with light browning.
C-2
36% microwave and 64% grill for
normal cooking with strong browning
(crust).
1. Press the “Microwave/Grill/Combi” but-
ton (17) as often as needed until the dis-
play “
(-1
” or “
(-2
” flashes.
2. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
The display “
(-1
” and/or “
(-2
” no longer
flashes.
3. Set the cooking time using the control
dial (14).
4. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
The cooking process will start. The display
counts down the remaining cooking time
in one-second increments. 5 beeps will
sound once the grill time has elapsed.
Defrosting

grill mode or hot air mode.
The appliance has 2 defrost programs:

Defrosting by weight
–
dEF2
: Timed defrosting
Defrosting by weight
You can defrost food up to a weight of 2,000 g.
The defrosting time varies depending on how
much weight you would like to defrost. For
100 g the defrosting time will take approx. 3
minutes and 30 seconds, for 2,000 g it takes
48 minutes.
1. Press the “Defrost by weight/time” but-
ton (11).
“
dEF1
” will appear on the display.
2. Turn the control dial (14) until the weight
of the food you would like to defrost ap-
pears on the display.
3. Press the “Start/+30sec./Confirm” but-
ton (13).
Defrosting starts. The required defrost-
ing time is counted down in the display. 5
beeps will sound once the defrosting time
has elapsed.
