Risk of burns!
The appliance will become
very hot during operation and
also remains hot for some
time after switching it off.
Touching the hot appliance
can lead to burns.

Do not touch any of the
metal parts and do not
come into contact with the
toasting slot.
■
Allow the appliance to cool
completely before cleaning
or storing it.
■
Only move the appliance
after it has been allowed to
cool.
■
Do not leave the appliance
unattended and keep out
of the reach of children if
it is still connected to the
power or still hot following
usage.
■
Make sure that there is no
risk of other persons, espe-
cially children, or pets burn-
ing themselves on the ap-
pliance.

Prior to each use, check
whether the articles or the
mains connection show
signs of damage. If this is
the case, do not switch the
appliance on, instead con-
tact our Service depart-
ment.

Only connect the appliance
if the mains voltage corre-
sponds to the voltage dis-
played on the label.
■
Remove the mains plug im-
mediately if the appliance
–
shows visible signs of
damage, e.g. the mains
cord is defective;
–
starts smoking or there is
a burning smell;
–
makes unfamiliar noises.
