XIII. Power Seat Actuator
1.
Turn off power to the joystick.
2.
Ensure the unit is in drive mode.
3.
Disconnect the joystick and all harnesses
that connect to the power base.
Tools Required:
- Imperial and metric Socket Set
- Imperial and metric Spanner Set
- Imperial and metric Hex Key Set
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Wire Cutters
4.
Remove the seat from the power seat interface weld-
ment.
5.
Remove the front electronics door and the top shroud
See Section I.
6.
Remove the screws that secure the interface cover to
the main frame.
7.
Disconnect the power seat actuator harness from the
harness coming from the power module.
8.
Disconnect the inhibit harness from the power module.
9.
Remove the 4 screws that secure the power seat actua-
tor assembly to the main frame.
10.
Reverse steps 4 to 9 for installation. Torque the actua-
tor connecting hardware to
26 N • m (19.2 ft • lb).
Replace
any cableties.
