7. Disconnect connectors 1f and 1g from the circuit breaker

(2).  See figure 2.

8. Measure resistance across the circuit breaker’s two

spade connectors. See figure 4.

— If your multimeter indicates less than 1 ohm, then go to

the next step.

— If your multimeter indicates an open, then replace the

circuit breaker (2) and retest the system.

9. Measure resistance from connectors 1d to 1f and 1a to 1g.

See figure 2.

— If your multimeter does not indicate less than 1 ohm

for 1d to 1f, then replace the B+ battery box circuit breaker
harness (DWR9983H011).

— If your multimeter does not indicate less than 1 ohm

for 1a to 1g, then replace the B- battery box circuit breaker
harness (DWR9983H010).

— If your multimeter does not indicate less than 1 ohm

for both measurements, then replace both battery box
circuit breaker harnesses.

10. Remove fuse 5c. See diagram 3.
11. Measure the resistance of fuse 5c. See figure 5.
— If your multimeter indicates less than 1 ohm, then go to

the next step.

— If your multimeter indicates an open, then replace the

fuse (5c) and retest the system.

WARNING! The replacement fuse must

exactly match the rating of the old fuse.

Failure to use properly rated fuses may

cause damage to the electrical system.

12. Reassemble the battery box and install it back onto the

scooter.

13. Open the front console. See figure 6.
14. Unplug connector 4c from connector 3a. See figure 5.
15. Measure voltage across pin 1 and pin 3 of connector 4c.

See figure 7.

— If your multimeter indicates 0VDC, then go to the next

step.

— If your multimeter indicates greater than 18VDC, then

replace the console (3) and retest the system.
