IMPORTANT 

 

 

· 

Read the following instructions before first use to make sure you have general knowledge 

about the kettle. 

· 

Before connecting the kettle to the supply, check the voltage indicated on the appliance 

(bottom of kettle and base unit) to see whether it corresponds to that of the mains supply. 

· 

The container can be filled water, but never submerge the unit in water or other liquids. 

Socket and plug should not make contact with water or other liquids, because it could cause 
an electric shock. Therefore, never place the unit next to the sink. 

· 

The kettle is only made for heating water. Heating milk or other liquids can destroy the unit 

and void the warranty. 

· 

During the process of heating water the unit will heat up and produce steam. If the steam 

touches the skin it can result on injuries or burns. 

· 

The heating pipe needs a cooling time. If the heating pipe is touched before it cools down, 

it can cause bums. 

· 

Please use the unit only under supervision. 

· 

Children may not recognize the dangers of not properly handling electrical units. 

Therefore, the kettle should not be used by children. 

· 

Please make sure that the power cable does not touch the heating unit. 

· 

Please do not use the water heater when there is visible damage to the jar, the socket or 

the power cable. 

· 

If the unit is repaired by an unqualified person there may be injuries to the user. Please 

allow only a qualified electrician to repair the kettle and power cable. We recommend you 
contact a Service Center for repairs. 

· 

In order to avoid damage, never use sharp instruments near the heating pipe. The water 

heater is equipped with a dry-protection system, but never use it without water. If the 
dry-protection system has turned off the unit, please let it cool down completely before using it 
again. 

· 

Please disconnect the power cord plug if you are not going to use the kettle for a long 

period of time. 

· 

In case over-filling the jar, boiling water may spill. 

· 

Wait until the appliance switches off automatically or switch off manually before removing   

the jar from the stand. 

· 

This appliance has to be used with its stand and the jar shall not be filled while is placed 

on the stand . 

 
 

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE 

 

· 

Rinse the kettle and fill it with the maximum amount of fresh water it allows. Boil fresh 
water in the kettle two or three times and discard the boiled water before normal use. 

· 

Pour the desired amount of water into the kettle and dry any water on the kettle exterior. 

· 

Make sure the cable is connected and the “On/Off” switch is in “Off” position. 

· 

Turn the “On/Off” switch to the “On” position. The power indicator inside the switch will 
then be lighted. 

· 

Water temperature will rise until it boils, then the switch will automatically go to the “Off”
