PREPARATION
1. Plug the slow cooker cable into the power outlet.
2. The display screen will flash “88:88” four times along with all three
indicator lights; then the display screen will flash “----” indicating
that the slow cooker is on standby mode.
3. Add the ingredients to the inner pot, make sure too add enough
liquid. Then cover with the lid.
4. Choose
Low
or
High
temperature mode by pressing the
Select
button until the corresponding blue light indicator illuminates and
display shows 6:00, which is default cooking time (6 hours). The
cooking process will start immediately.
5. Use the
Timer / Delay Timer
button to modify the cooking time.
Each time the button is pressed, the cooking time increases in 30
minutes. Repeatedly press the button until you reach the desired
cooking time. The shortest cooking time is 30 minutes and the
longest is 10 hours.
6. Once the desired cooking time is set, the display will flash three
times and it will start counting down and the cooking process begins.
7. After the set cooking time has elapsed, the slow cooker will autom
-atically switch over to the
Warm
mode.
PREPARATION WITH DELAY START
NOTE:
Some food would deteriorate if kept in
"Warm"
setting for
extended periods of time.
8. Once you are ready to serve unplug the slow cooker from the
power outlet.
This feature allows you to delay the time the cooking process will start
in one hour intervals.
Follow steps 1 to 5 described in previous section; then press and hold
the
Timer / Delay Timer
button for 2-3 seconds; this will delay the star
-ting time in one hour. The display will flash and show AA:0X, where X
is the number of hours of the set cooking time plus one hour. e.g. if set
cooking time is 7 hours, the display will show AA:08. Each additional
press of the
Timer / Delay Timer
button will add one more hour to the
delay, and increase in one number the X on the display.
