IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructions and keep them for future reference.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs or
slow cooker heating base in water or other liquid.
4. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or a lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of this appliance in
a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be done by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
6. Unplug the appliance when not in use, before moving and before
cleaning. Allow it to cool before putting on or taking parts off.

To prevent damage or shock hazard, do not cook directly
in the heating base. Cook only in the ceramic inner pot provided.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after
the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
9. DO NOT use accessories or attachments other than those supplied
by the manufacturer.
10.The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manu
-facturer may cause injuries.
11.DO NOT use outdoors.
12.DO NOT use this appliance for other than intended use as described
in this manual.
