IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
Read all instructions.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or appliance in
water or other liquids.
Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near children.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
The appliance is only to be used under closed position.
Place the appliance on stable worktop when working, not on carton or plastic
material.
Do not use metal skewers, knives or other kind of pointed object to avoid
scratching the nonstick surface of grill plates.
Do not use the appliance out of the alternating current: 120V.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
Do not disassemble the appliance by yourself, and if it malfunctions or has been
damaged in any manner, return it to the nearest authorized service facility or
dealer for examination, repair or adjustment. Or call the appropriate toll-free
number on the cover of this manual.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience or
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
