High Idle/Valet Switch

STEP 4
The High Idle switch contains two
wires. One is a red wire with a pigtail
connector and one is separate. run
these wires behind the dash and over
to the left front floorboard. The red
pigtail wire assembly plugs into the
box located on the front left floorboard.
The blue wire will continue on to the
computer.
STEP 5
Twist off the black plastic speed-
nut. Pull back the top to reveal an
accessory panel. The red wire pigtail is
plugged in here. This plug is the High
Idle.
STEP 6
Plug the six pin female to the left
available socket location (socket
circled in red) just to the right of the
stud. NOTE: this step is only for 2001
to 2002 vehicle models.
STEP 7
Next connect the blue wire. You have
to route this through the firewall. The
image shows it fed through the upper
left-hand side of the vehicle then
fed it through the black wiring loom.
Then route this wire to the computer,
which is located right below the upper
radiator hose.
