About the UPS

X is a high performance uninterruptible power supply
(UPS). It provides protection for electronic equipment from utility power blackouts, brownouts, sags,
and surges; small utility fluctuations and large disturbances. The UPS also provides battery backup
power until utility power returns to safe levels or the batteries are fully discharged.
The Smart-UPS X UPS has both high voltage (200-240 V) and low voltage (100-127 V) models.
Safety
Read the Safety Guide included in the package before installing the UPS.
Inspect the UPS upon receipt. Notify the carrier and dealer if there is damage.
Recycle the packaging.
Heavy:
The UPS is heavy. If you are installing any external battery packs (XLBPs) with the
UPS, install the XLBPs first, at the bottom of the rack, and install the UPS last, above the
XLBPs.
