Assembly

• Position the steering linkage

with the inside (grooved side)
facing up and the metal bar
towards you.

• Insert the front axles through

the holes in each end of the
steering linkage.

• Push the front axles down so

that they fit completely in the steering linkage grooves.

• Fit a rectangular bushing (with rectangular opening) into

the rectangular indent in the outside of the rear wheel.

• Fit a .437 cap nut onto the end of the rear axle.

• While supporting the other end of the rear axle, cover the

cap nut with the assembly tool. Tap the assembly tool with
a hammer until the cap nut is secure on the rear axle.

Hint:

You may need the help of another adult to support the

rear axle.

• Remove the assembly tool. Pull on the cap nut to be sure

it is secure on the rear axle.

• Identify the other 

rear 

wheel (with 

flat 

center tread).

• Identify the 

inside 

of the rear wheel (with 

circular

indents).

• Slide the other rear wheel, 

inside first

, onto the end 

of the rear axle.
