TROUBLESHOOTING
Contact Princess Auto Ltd. for a solution if the tool does not function properly or parts are missing. If unable to do so,
have a qualified technician service the tool.
Problem(s) Possible cause(s) Suggested solution(s)
Engine won’t run No fuel Add fuel
Carburator requires adjustment Refer to Engine Operator’s Manual
Low-oil shutdown is shutting
off engine.
Add oil to proper level as indicated
on dipstick.
Pressure loss Unloader valve has been loosened
(turned counterclockwise).
Turn unloader clockwise until it locks
at original factory preset position.
Hose inlet filter clogged. Remove and clean.
Air in water. Tighten all water hose fittings.
Nozzle worn. Replace nozzle.
Pump worn. Rebuild or replace pump.
No water at nozzle Water supply off Turn on water supply
Hose inlet filter-washer plugged Remove and clean
Plugged nozzle Clear obstruction by blowing air back
through nozzle.
Spray pressure fluctuates Air in water inlet line Tighten all garden hose fittings.
Insufficient water flow Turn water on full force
Worn pump Rebuild or replace pump
Maladjusted unloader valve Readjust unloader to factory preset
Will not draw sufficient
detergent or fails to draw
at all
Detergent hose foot strainer plugged Remove from container and clean
Air in detergent Check for air leaks in clear hose
and fix.
Injector is clogged Remove and clean injector
Low pressure nozzle is clogged or worn Clean or replace low pressure nozzle
Water flows into detergent
container as soon as water
hose is turned on
Injector ball valve remains open Dismantle injector and clean
Noisy operation, knocking Worn or broken bearing Replace bearing as needed
Inadequate water supply to pump Clear inlet screen and ensure water is
turned on full force
Irregular spray pattern Pump is not primed Prime pump
Worn or partially clogged nozzle Clean or replace spray nozzle
