Cleaning and maintenance
The saw can be cleaned by wiping its exterior parts
with a damp cloth.
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents, as they
may attack the plastic parts of the machine.
Always make sure the chain guide on the blade is
free of sawdust and bark splinters to ensure correct
lubrication. Use compressed air to keep the guide
clear. Remove the chain to clean the guide if it
cannot be cleaned satisfactorily with the chain on.
Sharpen the teeth using a chainsaw file or similar.
Be very careful when sharpening the teeth! Replace
the chain when the teeth are worn down to the
mark.
Fill the oil tank when the level is below the
minimum mark on the side of the tank.
