Have air nailer inspected and

Air leaking from bottom of air
nailer or between air nailer and
cylinder head.
1. There are loose screws.
2. O-rings are worn or damaged.

repaired.
Staples driven in too deep.
1. There are loose screws.
2. Supply pressure is too high.
1. Tighten screws.
2. Reduce supply pressure.
Air nailer is not working
properly or is not driving in
staples properly.
1. Supply pressure too low
2. Air nailer needs lubrication.
3. O-rings or gaskets are
damaged or air nailer is
defective.
1. Increase supply pressure.
2. Lubricate air nailer.
3. Have air nailer inspected and
repaired.
Air nailer skips staples.
1. Spring in magazine is
defective.
2. Front plate or magazine is
defective or dirty.
3. O-ring in piston is defective or
in need of lubrication.
4. Air nailer is defective.
1. Replace spring.
2. Clean front plate or
magazine.
3. Lubricate air nailer.
4. Have air nailer inspected and
repaired.
The staples get stuck in the
magazine.
1. The wrong staples are in use,
or the staples are inserted
backwards.
2. The magazine is loose or
dirty.
3. Air nailer is defective.
1. Use the correct staples , or
insert staples correctly.
2. Mount the magazine correctly
and make sure that it is clean.
3. Have air nailer inspected and
repaired.
