INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Operating
AC and DC current can be supplied
simultaneously. Load must be kept within
rating stated on generator type plate.
Alternating current:
The inverter converts DC to AC for use with
electronic appliances such as TV, computers, etc. It
controls the current and frequency electronically,
giving a constant frequency of 50 Hertz and stable
sinus curve. The current is also regulated precisely
to 230 Volt.
•
Connect a heavy-duty cable between the
generator earth terminal (6) and an external
earth connection.
•
Connect appliance to generator AC outlet
panel (7).
•
Start connected appliances one at a time,
never simultaneously.
Overload indicator can come on briefly when
appliances are started. This is normal and not
indication of a fault if the indicator goes out
after a few seconds.
•
Never use floodlights with other types of
appliance.
•
If an appliance is defective, runs too slowly or
suddenly stops when connected to the
generator, switch off immediately. Check
appliance for defects.
•
Current indicator lights constantly under
normal operation. If overload indicator comes
on and remains constantly lit, the generator is
overloaded, or a short-circuit or other defect
has occurred in a connected appliance.
Disconnect appliance and check for defects.
•
Generator is fitted with a fuel economy
function. When the economy switch (15) is set
to
ON
, the engine will automatically idle when
electrical appliances are disconnected and
return to full speed when reconnected. Switch
function off to avoid current fluctuations if
several appliances are connected at once.
Direct current:
•
The DC outlet is only for charging car
batteries or the like at 12 V.
•
Do not use the economy function with the DC
outlet, as the charging current will fall under 5
A. Check that the economy switch is set to
OFF
.
•
Remove cable from battery terminals and open
battery cells before charging.
