For
using the chisel function
the hammer
function selector must be aligned with the
drill- and hammer symbol, and the chisel
function selector aligned with the hammer
symbol.
Use
•
Check that the chisel or drill to be used is
correctly fitted, that the correct drill or chisel
function is selected and that the side handle
and depth stop (if required) are correctly set.
•
Hold both handles. Press the on/off button (6).
•
Allow to reach full speed before applying to
the item to be worked.
•
Do not press hard, but allow the drill or chisel
to do the work.
•
Remove from the item when finished and
release the on/off button.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
Always keep drills and chisels clean and sharp.
•
Wipe using a well-wrung cloth after use, and
always keep the surface and ventilation holes
free of dirt.
•
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents,
as they may attack the plastic parts of the
machine.
•
The collar can become tight after while due
to dust and dirt. Lubrication will free it again.
•
Check regularly that the carbon brushes are
in a good condition. If the carbon brushes are
worn down, they should be replaced.
•
After approx. 50 hours of use, the machine
should be lubricated. Contact the dealer or
an authorised service workshop.
