Special safety instructions
General
•
Do not use for routing or grooving.
•
Do not use items larger than the dimensions
stated under Capacity in the Technical
Specifications.
•
Ensure area is free of shavings and sawdust.
•
Always ensure the saw is standing on a firm,
level surface, and that it cannot move during
sawing.
•
Do not use for cutting posts or logs.
•
Never lock the blade guard in its open
position except when changing blades as
described below. Never remove lower blade
guard unless using as a circular saw.
•
Take care not to trap fingers or other body
parts when turning work table.
•
Lock top in lowered position when moving
saw.
•
Never use the guards to carry or lift the saw.

Always keep the spindle and flanges for fitting
saw blades clean.
•
Never use high-speed steel blades.
•
Never use grinding or cutting blades.
•
Always use the correct type of blade for the
type of work to be performed. For use only on
wood, aluminium or similar materials.
•
Never use blades with a maximum RPM less
than that of the tool.
•
Never use blades that are bent or have teeth
missing.
•
Never use oversized blades.
