Battery Gauge
Battery Gauge:
The battery gauge on the FW5s GPS Rental Cart is displayed in the top right
hand corner of the
Play Golf
display. The charge state of your battery will
determine how much of the bar will illuminate.
As you progress through the round the inner bar of the gauge will drop. When
the bar has fully extinguished it indicates that the battery is flat. When your
battery is new the bar may only drop a small amount during the entire round. As
your battery ages, you may lose more.
If the bar is completely extinguished; (1) you have not fully charged your battery
(2) your battery is nearing the end of its useful life and should be replaced.
Auto-Hole Advance:
While travelling from the green area to the next tee, the Par, Hole and
Distances will usually automatically advance to the next hole. Due to variations
in accuracy of commercial GPS and the route taken by the golfer you may
occasionally have to manually advance to the next hole.

To manually advance to the next hole, press the right button.
•
To return to the previous hole, press the left button.
•
Your trolley will automatically start at hole 1, if you are starting from a
different hole press the right button until the required hole is displayed.
Competition Mode:
For use in competitions where distance features are not permitted. All distance
measuring features will be disabled.
•
Competition Mode can be activated and deactivated from the Admin menu.
•
When the Rental Cart is switched off, Competition Mode will automatically
turn off, re-activating distance features for the next round.

Low GPS Signal
Low Signal:
In certain conditions your Rental Cart may experience a low GPS signal during
start up, if after 3 minuites a GPS lock cannot be aquired, a low signal pop-up
will apear to indicate this. When this happens, move the Rental Cart away from
any buildings into an open sky position. The Cart will continue to seach for a
signal lock.

Your FW5s GPS Rental Cart has a number of preferences you can change in
the admin menu.
Admin Menu:
•
When you enter the Admin menu a Default Pin of
1256
will be set. (To set
your preferred Pin or disable, see next page)
•
The admin options will be displayed across 4 pages.
•
To exit the menu press and hold both left and right buttons to return to the
previous displayed screen. Alternatively select Return to Start to return to
the Main Menu.
•
To move to a setting use the rotary control dial to move the cursor then
press to select the option you want to change.
•
The option will be highlighted, use the rotary control to select the new
setting and press the control dial to confirm.
•
If turning your Rental Cart off, allow a few moments before switching off to
allow your new preferences to save.
