Starting raking
Rake end
Example: left rotor with tandem chassis:
Requirements:
- level and firm ground
- 1.5 bar pressure in all tyres
- The implement is attached to the tractor and in the working position
1. Step:
Lower the tines using the crank handle. The lowest tines
should no longer sweep the ground when the rotor is turned.
2. Step:
Adjust the transverse inclination to the "start raking" position
using the eccentric screws, so that a ground clearance of
approx. 1 - 1.5 cm can be measured on the first triggered
tines (start raking).
TIP
Set both eccentric screws equally on the same side of
a gyro unit.
3. Step:
Adjusting the raking height by means of a crank. The ground
distance at "start raking" position should now be approx.
3.5 cm. The ground distance at "finish raking" position
should now be approx. 2.0 cm.

NOTE
Property damage through operation without an inner
feeler wheel
•
Always operate the machine with an inner
feeler wheel. The carrier and holder of the
external feeler wheel are not designed for
stand-alone operation.
Set the inner feeler wheel so that the tines in front of it
have a ground clearance of 2.5 cm.
5. Step:
Adjust the ground clearance of the outer feeler wheel
(multitast wheel) so that it is only slightly loaded.
6. Step:
Set the distance of the outer feeler wheel to the rotor.
The distance (A) of the outer feeler wheel to the tine
rotor can be adjusted at intervals of 10 cm. There are
three adjustment possibilities.
• If the chuck is short, position the feeler wheel as
close as possible to the rotor.
