The Puma F storage combination boiler has been
through a rigorous test procedure after manufacture and
should not require any further adjustment. If in the unlikely
event of the appliance not operating correctly please turn to
the Control Flow, Functional Flow and Fault Finding charts
that start on Page 41.
3.1 Electrical Installation
Conduct a preliminary electrical test by checking: for short
circuits, fuse failure, incorrect polarity, earth continuity and
resistance to earth. If a fault has occurred on the appliance,
the fault finding procedure should be followed. See Page
41.
3.2 Gas Installation
The whole of the gas installation including the meter,
should be inspected and tested for soundness and purged
in accordance with the recommendations of BS 6891.
Purging air from the gas line may be carried out by
loosening the union on the gas service cock and purging.
Re-tighten the union when completed and check for gas
soundness.
N.B. Open all doors and windows, extinguish naked lights
and DO NOT SMOKE when carrying out the gas
soundness tests and purging.
