1. Before using the product
1.1. Cleaning
•
Wipe the device with a clean, dry and soft cloth.
•
Use a damp cloth or a very small quantity of glass cleaner for the front glass.
1.2. Safety
•
Do not use a damaged LAN cable.
•
Do not bend or pull the LAN cable with force.
•
Do not place the LAN cable under heavy objects.
•
Keep the LAN socket where the LAN cable is connected unobstructed.
•
Hold the connector when disconnecting the LAN cable from the LAN socket.
•
Do not install the monitor within the reach of young children.
•
Keep the plastic packaging out of the reach of children.
1.3. Operation
•
Do not place objects on top of the product.
•
Do not install the product in places with exposure to fine dust, chemical substances or
significant moisture.
•
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, heat, or other hot objects.
•
If the controller generates a burning smell or smoke, disconnect the power cord immediately.
•
Do not insert object into the controller.
•
To move the product, disconnect all cables first.
•
Do not allow children to play with the controller.
2. Scope of delivery

3. Functional description
The room!MATE DoorSign101 is part of the roomMATE room management application and requires
the room!MATE Calendar software for operation. DoorSign101 is a digital door sign with 10.1” TFT to
display room reservations. After having finished the boot process, the door sign displays the actual
(current or upcoming) and subsequent reservation. DoorSign101 receives the information from the
roomMATE Calendar. The content is updated once in a minute.
