1 • Place spacers in all rack holes to secure to the gate. You should place them in the center of the ovalized rack
holes, so you can fine-tune them at the end of the installation if necessary.
2 • Position a piece of rack over the pinion and level it horizontally with a level.
3 • Weld the spacer over the pinion.
4 • Close the gate slightly until the other end of the rack rests against the pinion and welds the other spacer to
the gate.
5 • Close the gate slightly, letting the rack rest on the pinion and apply another rack (A). To synchronize your
teeth with the piece already installed, use an additional piece of rack (B) and place it under the other two joints,
holding them with clamps (C).
6 • Open the gate until it rests against the tip of the new rack and over welds the spacer.
7 • Remove the auxiliary rack piece and open the gate until the pinion is over the other rack end. Weld the
spacer.
4 • Close the gate slightly by letting the rack rest against the pinion and apply another rack (A) by fitting it to the
already screwed rack (B).
5 • Open the gate until you rest the tip of the new rack piece on the pinion and screw it to the gate.
6 • Open the gate until the pinion is on the other end of the rack. Screw it to the gate.
7 • Repeat the previous steps for each meter of rack until you reach the end.
8 • Tighten all racks of installed racks to ensure safety and fastening of racks.
INSTALLATION OF STEEL GEAR RACK
Put the gate in the open position and unlock the engine!
During the course of the gate, all rack elements must engage
properly with the pinion!
Spacers can not be welded to the rack!
