For the first start-up, it is important to clean the sand present in the filter.
This should be repeated from time to time when you feel that the water in your pool is
no longer sufficiently clean or depending on the pressure on the gauge.
Step 1
Make sure the 6-way valve is in the closed position (5).
Unscrew the drain plug (D) and insert a 32/38 connector (not supplied).
Insert a pipe to this fitting and position the other end in a sewer.
Position the 6-way valve in the Backwash position (4) and start the filtration unit.
Once the drain water is no longer cloudy, stop the filtration unit.
Step 2
Position the 6-way valve on the rinsing position (2) then restart the filtration unit until
the water at the drain outlet is clear.

Stop the filtration unit, reposition the 6-way valve to the closed position (5) then uns

crew the drain connection pipe and reposition the drain plug (D) and tighten it, checking
that the seal is positioned and in good condition.
Step 4
Put the 6-way valve in the Filtration position (1) and reconnect the filtration unit.
You can now enjoy your pool with a cleaned filter.
