Water massage strength adjustment
On the bathtub rim, there is a panel with air supply
control knobs to enhance the water massage with air
jets. The control knobs feed air into the side nozzles,
back nozzles and feet nozzles.
1. Sides and feet
2. Back
• turn the control knob left to increase the water jet
strength in the nozzles
• turn the control knob right to decrease the water jet
strength in the nozzles
LED lighting
LED lighting provides a special lighting effect which
enables you to combine bathing with colour therapy.
The bathtub lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere
that will boost your mood, regardless whether the
massage is on or not. The innovative technology makes
it possible to achieve lighting effects with outstanding
intensity, while maintaining small dimensions, flat
structure and low energy consumption.
FIRST STEPS
Bathroom preparation
When preparing the bathroom where the bathtub will
be installed, please make sure that it conforms to the
following requirements:
- appropriate size,
- 230V~ power supply,
- water supply and drain,
- levelled floor surface,
- appropriate ventillation,
- for corner bathtubs: the corner in which the bathtub
will be installed should have a 90° angle and the walls’
deviation from plumb should not exceed 1 mm/m.
Bathtub cleaning
Before commencing installation, the chrome-plated
surfaces of fittings and the acrylic surface of the
bathtub should be cleaned of preserving agents.
Whirlpool bathtubs are equipped with a safety device
against triggering the water massage when the water
level in the bathtub is low, thus preventing drive
engine damage. Before starting the water massage
function, check if the water level is at least 20 mm
above the highest water massage nozzle.
MANUAL DISINFECTION
Disinfect the bathtub before
first use
and then every
three baths, and after a longer downtime (longer than
3 weeks).
Disinfection procedure:
1. Pour at least 50 ml of disinfectant into the bathtub
filled with water.
2. Start the pump and the blower for ca. 5 minutes.
3. Wait 10 minutes.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 twice.
5. Drain the water from the bathtub.
6. After emptying, flush the bathtub with clean,
lukewarm water.
It is generally recommended to use a special
disinfecting liquid.
Third party products: use only disinfecting liquids
and bath additives marked as “suitable for whirlpool
bathtubs”. Any defects should be repaired only by a
properly qualified technician. In the event of a defect,
consult the following table. If the problem cannot be
repaired, please contact your local ROCA POOL-SPA
representative.
