GENERAL INFORMATION
Dear Customers,
Thank you for choosing the ROCA POOL-SPA
whirlpool bathtub.
Each whirlpool bathtub undergoes individual tests
and must conform to strict technical requirements,
ensuring the quality of materials used and the correct
operation of all components.
This instruction manual provides instructions,
guidelines and suggestions that will allow you to
fully enjoy the whirlpool bathtub. Please read this
instruction manual carefully. Should you require more
information, please contact your local distributor of
ROCA POOL-SPA.
Transport
The bathtub should be transported in original
container. Handle the bathtub using the aluminium
frame or acrylic elements.
Do not use pipes and conduits of the whirlpool system
as handles.
General remarks
Install the whirlpool bathtub in accordance with
the provided installation instructions. The whirlpool
system components require appropriate ventillation.
If the bathtub is installed with a casing panel, please
provide a 10 mm gap between the panel and the floor.
This gap must not be obstructed by towels, bath rugs
or any other materials that might block the air flow.
Safety
During installation of the bathtub, please follow
the following key safety rules to prevent accidents.
Installation must be performed by qualified
technicians. Please follow the installation instructions
provided with the bathtub. Connect the bathtub to AC
230V~ 50 Hz power supply. Electric power must be
supplied through a residual current device (RCD) with
the trigger current not exceeding 30 mA. Furthermore,
the electrical system should be equipped with a bipolar
overcurrent circuit breaker. The metal elements of
the bathtub should be properly earthed and a bond
connection should be made between the frame and
other metal elements of the bathroom, in accordance
with the applicable local regulations.
Modifications:
ROCA POOL-SPA reserves the right
to introduce changes and modifications to its products

WARNINGS AND REMARKS
Empty the bathtub after each bath.
Handicapped persons should be particularly careful
when using a whirlpool bathtub.
Small children should only use the whirlpool system
under supervision.
Use only dissolved essences, perfumes or bath salts
as bath additives. Only additives designed specially
for whirlpool bathtubs should be used.
Regular disinfection will ensure appropriate hygiene
level:
- Disinfect the bathtub before taking your first whirlpool
bath.
- Recommended disinfection frequency: the
disinfection procedure (destruction of microorganisms
in n ormal mode) should be performed every three
baths.
- After a longer downtime: disinfect the whirlpool
bathtub if the bathtub was not used for ca. 3 weeks.
Secure the bathtub so that live elements, except for
safe voltage below 12V, are inacessible to persons
inside the bathtub.
The components containing electrical elements, with
the exception of the remote control, must be installed
or mounted in such way as to prevent falling into the
bathtub.
The operation of the residual current device (RCD)
should be controlled according to the relevant
instructions.
All instructions provided with the bathtub should be
stored securely to ensure access for the future owners
and users of the bathtub.
All adjustments and repairs of the bathtub should
be performed only by the engineers who are able
to confirm before the relevant authorities their
knowledge and ability to apply the regulations on the
safety of electrical and hydraulic systems applicable
in the country of installation.
Whirlpool bath may reduce blood pressure and
circulation. Persons with circulatory disorders should
consult their physician on the appropriate use of such
baths.
Do not heat the bath water above 40°C.
Do not look directly into the lights. It may damage your
eyes.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The bathtub surface is exceptionally easy to clean
and maintain. Smooth surface prevents accumulation
of dirt. Regular cleaning with a sponge, soft cloth and
antistatic cleaner will ensure that your bathtub stays
shiny and no dirt accumulates on its surface.
To clean the bathtub, use a soft sponge and a solution
of liquid soap and water. Wipe dry with a cloth.
Avoid using abrasive agents and solvents, as they
may compromise the surface of the bathtub. Due to
their concentration, it is recommended to avoid this
type of cleaning agents.
More persistent dirt should be removed using a
washing liquid (e.g. dishwashing liquid or liquid soap
[please follow the dilution instructions]).
Calcifications should be removed with an appropriate
decalcifier. Flush with plenty of clean water. Polish the
surface with a soft cloth. Do not use acidic cleaning
agents or acetum.
Numerous scratches
If the surface is significantly scratched, polish paste
may be used.
We recommend that polishing be performed by a
maintenance specialist.
Under no circumstances should you use alcohol
or solvents containing acetone for cleaning.
Damage caused by inappropriate maintenance
performed by the user shall not be covered by the
manufacturer’s warranty.
COMPONENTS OF WHIRLPOOL BATHTUBS
Touching the switch with just a part of your finger tip,
touching too quickly or too lightly may fail to trigger the
required function.
Air massage
The air massage system is equipped with air vents
embedded in the bathtub bottom. Ozonated and
warmed-up air (SMART 2+) is fed to the water through
air ducts under the bathtub bottom and then through
the air vents. The system is exceptionally hygienic
and easy to clean.
The air ducts have their own water drain which
ensures complete emptying. The air massage
system operates without the risk of deterioration of
parameters during the lifecycle of the device. The air
blower is switched on after each use of the bathtub in
order to dry the air ducts, even if the bathtub is only
used for a shower.

Water massage
Unlike the air massage system, the water massage
uses water streams to achieve the desired massaging
effect.
Depending on the model, the bathtub is equipped with
8 to 18 water massage nozzles. The water nozzles are
located on the sides of the bathtub. The direction and
strength of the jet from the nozzles can be adjusted
manually. There are also rotational and directional
nozzles located at the user’s back and feet, where
the jet strength and direction can also be adjusted
manually. In general, it is advised against directing the
nozzle perpendicular to your body; rather, direct the
nozzle at a small angle.
In order to secure the water massage pump against
the so-called “dry run”, a water level sensor has been
installed. If the water level drops below the required
minimum, the pump will not be switched on.
