ADJUSTING THE ALARM SENSITIVITY

NOTE: Alarm is factory-set to the highest sensitivity level.

1) Loosen the screws on the bottom of the sensor tube

as in Figure 13.

2) Slide the adjustment switch from the high

sensitivity position (H) to the low sensitivity
position (L) as in Figure 14.

DEFLECTOR SHIELD

The deflector shield can be used to lower the sensitivity
of the alarm in cases where the water flow from the
return is setting off the alarm.

1) Snap the shield onto the sensor cage facing the

direction of water flow as in Figure 15.

2) Retest the alarm to ensure it is performing properly.

WINTERIZATION

It is recommended to remove the alarm from the pool when
the water temperature can fall below the freezing point.

1) Remove one of the top seat caps from the pool

section of where the alarm is installed.

2) Remove the screws from the top seat and lift that

end of the top seat.

3) Loosen the mounting bracket screws and slide the

alarm off the top rail of the pool wall.

4) Remove the siren from the upright of the pool.

5) Reinstall the top seat and cap.

6) Store the alarm and its components in a location

that will remain above the freezing point.

Sensor shield blocking wave

Remove sensor shield from sensor cage

Alarm constantly
sounding

Water level low

Raise water level to minimum water level requirement (Fig 16)

Sensitivity set on H or High

Adjust the sensativity to L or Low

Return water flow setting off alarm Adjust the return eyeball to face down and away from the alarm
