4. Press the SELECT button to enter the

personalization programming mode.

5. Choose DRIVER ID 1 or 2 by press-

ing the RESET button to toggle
between them. When the desired
DRIVER ID number is displayed,
press the SELECT button to choose
the current selection and move on to
the next personalization feature.

Each feature that can be personalized
through the DIC will appear on the dis-
play. After making a selection, the DIC
moves to the next feature. (See your
Owner Manual for complete details.)

Security Feedback

On equipped vehicles, choosing different
combinations of the following Driver
Information Center (DIC) selections cus-
tomizes the transmitter-activated feed-
back when locking and unlocking your
vehicle with the remote transmitter:
• KEYLESS FEEDBACK — OFF/ON
• LIGHTS FEEDBACK — OFF/ON
• HORN FEEDBACK — OFF/ON
Enter the personalization programming
mode by following the directions under
the preceding Personalizing Vehicle
Features section and stop at the KEY-
LESS FEEDBACK menu item.  
• If you choose ON for KEYLESS

FEEDBACK, you will also need to
choose LIGHTS and/or HORN 
FEEDBACK.

• If you choose OFF for KEYLESS

FEEDBACK, there is no feedback
from either the lights or horn when
locking or unlocking your vehicle.

• If you choose ON for KEYLESS and

LIGHTS FEEDBACK settings, the
exterior lamps flash twice when
unlocking and once when locking
your vehicle.

• If you choose ON for KEYLESS

FEEDBACK and ON for HORN
FEEDBACK, the horn chirps when
locking and unlocking the vehicle.

• If you choose ON for KEYLESS,

LIGHTS and HORN FEEDBACK, the
exterior lamps flash twice at the first
unlock button press. At the second
unlock button press, the exterior
lamps flash twice and your horn
chirps once. When pressing the
LOCK button, the exterior lamps will
flash once and the horn will chirp.

Programmable Automatic Door Locks

Your vehicle’s power door locks can be
programmed to your own preferences.
To program them using the Driver
Information Center (if equipped), enter
the personalization programming mode
by following the instructions under the
preceding Personalizing Vehicle
Features section, then choose from the
following locking/unlocking options:
• When AUTO DOOR LOCKS —

OFF/ON is displayed, toggle between
OFF and ON by pressing the RESET
button. If automatic locking is not
desired, toggle to the OFF setting
and press the SELECT button to save
the setting and advance to the next
feature.

• When UNLOCK — OFF/ON is dis-

played, you can choose to disable
any automatic unlocking function by
keeping the selection in the OFF
position. If you choose ON, you can
further program the DIC to unlock the
doors as follows.

• By choosing ON for AUTO DOOR

LOCKS and ON for UNLOCK and
KEY OFF, your doors will lock every
