MAINTENANCE
Rotating parts need to be regularly accessed for cleaning. To this purpose it is recommended to not use any chemical detergents.
Follow the instructions on Page 7& 8.
Unfasten the cages as shown in Figure 1, Page 7. Remove the pump from its seat. Remove the volute, and take out the
impeller and proceed with cleaning. Make sure that the bottom of the well is free from dirt and if necessary clean it. Replace all parts in
reverse order.
When you put the impeller assembly in its place, please pay utmost attention to the magnetic force of the impeller itself. This in order to
avoid any injury or damage to the impeller shaft and/or to the bearing present on the bottom that might compromise the correct
functioning of the pump.
Turn the impeller disk, paying attention to follow the reference marks placed on the impeller and on motor body of the pump (Fig. 8, Page 8).
Screw the volute back onto the pump, as shown in Fig. 11, Page 8.
Place the volute making sure that the screw lodging is not next to the fastening eyelets. Rotate it clock-wise until
the stop, then insert the screws and screw to fasten it.
Put the pump back into the shell, inserting it into the special slides positioned inside (Fig. 13, Page 8). Close the pump with the remaining
shell. ATTENTION: The impeller is provided with a ceramic shaft, that is wear-resistant, but fragile. Pay utmost attention during maintenance
operations.
