SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Warning – Due to the risk of injury, this product is not suitable for use by children and persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or intellectual capacities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed on the use of the device by a person
responsible for their safety.
2. Warning – Risk of electric shock. If you lack the necessary experience and knowledge, this device
must always be connected by a certified electrician, in accordance with the locally applicable
standards and legal regulations, including a good earth connection and residual-current device.
3. Warning – To reduce the risk of electric shock, a damaged cable should be replaced immediately,
when possible (see also point 16).
4. Warning – To reduce the risk of electric shock, the use of an extension lead is not recommended.
Only connect the device to an earthed mains socket.
5. Do not bury the connection lead. Never combine connections and/or connection leads with those
for lawn mowers, hedge trimmers and other equipment.
6. Never install the device where it will be exposed to direct sunlight.
7. Keep children away from this device and the lead.
8. Only put the device in use after it has been fully installed in accordance with the installation
instructions in this manual.

12. Always remove the power plug from the socket when the device is not in use and/or when it is
being worked on or cleaned. The power plug must be removed from the mains socket by pulling on
the plug itself. Never pull the lead to remove the plug from the mains socket.
13. To reduce the risk of electric shock, the plug must not be inserted into or removed from the mains
socket with wet hands and/or while you are in the water.
14. The device must never be partially or entirely immersed in water or any other liquid.
