Introduction
The optical back-converter OPM-CDL from Polytron converts an optical signal
back into RF signals.
Supported are: FM, DAB, DVB-T (= TERR.) and 2 polarities (LHC und RHC).
The OPM-CDL is a Dual converter, which can be connected to a multi-switch.
This guide assumes that:

the converter is connected to a suitable passive optical network (PON),
providing a minimum optical signal level of -12 dBm at the connection
point of the converter.

that the mounting and safety instructions are observed and implemented.

that the installation is carried out by authorized personnel.

all optical FC/PC connections are cleaned and free of any dust.

the connector front-
side doesn’t get in contact with the skin after cleaning
procedure.
Mounting
Ensure that the converter is mounted on a suitable ground with enough space for
the required connections.
FC/PC bayonet lock
The optical FC/PC connector is equipped with a bayonet connector and a twist-
lock.
The "tongue" of the plug must be inserted into the groove of the socket.
Then the plug can be screwed on.
