5. Default settings at delivery state
The HDS devices are preconfigured in the delivery state according to the hardware configuration.
The input signals are defined as MPEG2 signals. The modulator outputs are all activated. At ASI output the signal of
modulator 1 (MPTS 1) will be provided.
Note
The modulators of the DVB-C devices are preconfigured according to standard J.83A (DVB-C Annex A)!
The delivery status can be reset at any time by "Factory set". All transport stream information is given neutral and can
be adapted to the requirements of the cable network operator.

6. Installation of the HDS (without configuration)
All assembly and connection work must be carried out in a voltage-free state!
Observe the safety instructions (see section 1).
The signals for SDI and ASI must be fed into the corresponding connections on the back of the device using suitable
cables.
Once all signal cabling has been made, the power supply cable can be connected and the device can be switched on.
The operating status is indicated by LEDs on the front panel.
Note
At delivery, identical network parameters are set for all devices! The setup and configuration of several devices within
a network must therefore be carried out step by step.
